Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use go.yuvrajwadhwani.com and our Premiere Pro tools, why we collect it, who helps us process it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. It's written in plain English. Questions? Email yuvraj@yuvrajwadhwani.com.

1.Who we are

VideoPreneur is a brand of Purple Dreams, run by Yuvraj Wadhwani and based in Indore, India ("we", "us"). We decide how and why your personal data is used, so we are responsible for it (the "data fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, and the "controller" under the GDPR).

Contact us about anything in this policy at yuvraj@yuvrajwadhwani.com.

2.What this policy covers

  • Our pages on go.yuvrajwadhwani.com: the AI cohort, the free masterclass, the webinar, and the tool trial and free-key pages.
  • Our Premiere Pro tools (the extensions) and the licence system behind them.

Course purchases, the student area and the rest of yuvrajwadhwani.com are also covered by the main site's privacy policy: https://yuvrajwadhwani.com/privacy-policy/.

3.What we collect, and why

When you sign up on one of our pages

  • Your name and email — to send you what you signed up for (a trial or free key, session links, course access).
  • Your phone / WhatsApp number — required for the cohort, masterclass and webinar so we can send session details on WhatsApp; optional on tool trials.
  • Your country, and how you found us (the page, the referring site, and campaign tags in the link, such as "utm_source") — to understand which posts and ads work.
  • For the free masterclass, the session you registered for.
  • For tool trials and free keys, a record of your agreement to our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy: when you agreed, which version, and your IP address — stored only as a one-way scrambled code (a "hash"), never as the address itself.

When you watch the masterclass recordings

  • Your email — we email you a one-time 6-digit login code. If you're new to us, you're added to our list as a lead, the same as signing up for a free session.
  • What you watch: which recordings you open, how far you get, and which chapters and buttons you click. We use this to understand which topics are useful, and to tell you about sessions and programs that fit what you watched.

When you buy

Payments happen on yuvrajwadhwani.com through Razorpay. We receive your name, contact details, billing address and the payment result. We never see or store your full card or bank details.

Your licence

  • Your licence key. We keep a one-way code of it (to check it when you activate) and an encrypted copy, so our emails to you can include your key. A database leak alone would not reveal your key.
  • What you're entitled to: which tools and plan, and the start, end and expiry dates (including trial dates).
  • Activations: for each computer you activate, a one-way code of that computer (not its name or serial number), its operating system, your Premiere Pro version, your country, and when it first and last checked in. This is how we enforce the two-computer limit.
  • Trial records: which tool you trialled, with a one-way code of your computer and of your IP address, and your email. This stops the same person taking the same free trial again.

Problem reports and error data

When you use "Report a problem" (which also takes feature requests) or turn on "send error reports automatically", we receive what you typed (if anything), a short technical description of the error, the tool and its version, your operating system and its version, your Premiere Pro version, a random ID for that installation (it is not your licence or a computer fingerprint), a one-way code of your IP address, and — only if you've activated a licence — an internal reference to your account. Automatic error reports are off by default.

We never receive your file names, project names, folder paths, video or audio, or transcripts: the tool removes them before anything is sent, and "Report a problem" shows you exactly what will be sent first. Section 6 of our Terms of Service says the same.

Your editing work stays on your computer

The tools run on your own computer. Your videos, projects and transcripts are not sent to us. Some features use your own account and API key with an outside service: for example, generating captions sends the audio from your computer straight to Soniox, and AI text features use OpenRouter. That data goes directly to that provider under your own account and their terms. We don't receive it.

The chat assistant on the cohort page

If you use the chat assistant, we store your questions and its answers to improve its replies. Your messages are sent to OpenRouter, which passes them to the AI model that writes the answer. Please don't type sensitive personal information into the chat.

4.Cookies and tracking on our pages

  • Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram), on our sign-up pages. It records page visits and actions such as signing up or starting a checkout, and sets cookies. We use it to measure our ads and to show ads to people who visited our pages. You can limit this in your Meta ad settings or with your browser's tracking controls.
  • A login cookie for the masterclass recordings, set after you enter your code, so you stay logged in on that device for 30 days. It holds only a signed reference to your account and is not used for advertising.
  • Google Fonts — your browser loads our fonts from Google, which sees your IP address.
  • Bunny.net delivers our videos (and software downloads), so it sees your IP address when they play or download.
  • Cloudflare hosts these pages and protects them from abuse; it processes your IP address to do so. We may also use Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots on our forms.

We don't use Google Analytics on go.yuvrajwadhwani.com. The main site may use other tools; its own privacy policy explains them.

5.Who helps us process your data

We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the services that help us run things, and only for these purposes:

  • Cloudflare — hosting, our form and licence servers, and the licence database.
  • Amazon Web Services (SES) and Resend — sending emails (keys, receipts, reminders).
  • Pabbly Connect — passing sign-up details from our pages to our CRM.
  • FunnelKit on WordPress (on our own website server) — our contact list and email messages.
  • AiSensy — sending WhatsApp messages, including the verification code for our community.
  • Razorpay — payments.
  • Zoom — live sessions.
  • Discord and Supabase — the private cohort community and checking who's a member.
  • Bunny.net — videos and downloads.
  • Meta and Google — as described in section 4.
  • OpenRouter — the chat assistant.

We may also share data if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

6.Our legal reasons for using your data

  • To give you what you asked for (a contract, or steps before one): trial and free keys, licences, session links, course access, support.
  • Your consent: when you sign up and agree to receive our messages, and for advertising cookies such as the Meta Pixel. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Our legitimate interests: keeping our services secure, preventing repeat free trials and abuse, fixing and improving the software, and measuring how people find us — balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligations: for example, keeping payment records for tax.

Under India's DPDP Act, we process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you sign up, or for the legitimate uses the Act allows.

7.Messages we send

Besides what you signed up for, we send updates, tips and invitations to our events by email and WhatsApp. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to stop WhatsApp messages at any time by replying or emailing us.

8.How long we keep it

  • A trial or free key you never activate stops working after 60 days.
  • Your contact details, licence and activations: for as long as you're a customer or on our list, and until you ask us to delete them.
  • Masterclass-recording viewing data (which recordings, how far you watched, chapter and button clicks): until you ask us to delete it, like the rest of your lead data. Deleting your data removes this too.
  • Login codes: deleted within a day.
  • Problem reports: up to 12 months.
  • Chat assistant conversations: up to 12 months.
  • Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.

9.Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
  • correct it if it's wrong;
  • delete it;
  • stop using it for marketing, or withdraw your consent;
  • (in the EU and UK) restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another service.

Email yuvraj@yuvrajwadhwani.com from the address you signed up with. We'll reply within 30 days.

What deleting your data does: we remove your name, email, phone number, how you found us and your consent record (including the scrambled IP code), and your licence stops working. To stop the same free trial being taken again, we keep only one-way codes of your computer and IP address, with no name or email attached. Payment records are kept for as long as the law requires.

If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or, in the EU or UK, to your local data protection authority.

10.Keeping your data safe

Data is encrypted in transit. Licence keys are stored as one-way codes plus an encrypted copy, IP addresses are stored only as one-way codes, and access to our systems is limited to the people who run VideoPreneur.

11.Data outside India

Some of the services above store or process data outside India, for example in the United States or Europe. When they do, we rely on their standard data-protection terms.

12.Children

Our programs and tools are for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete their data.

13.Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll also tell you by email.

14.Grievance Officer

For any complaint about your personal data under India's DPDP Act, contact our Grievance Officer: Yuvraj Wadhwani, yuvraj@yuvrajwadhwani.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
